A full list of the men's FIS World Cup Giant Slalom champions since the first competition in 1967, which was won by French ski legend Jean-Claude Killy.

Some of the sport's great names have won it over the years, although it's the Swedish master Ingemar Stenmark who is undoubtedly the giant slalom king, with 8 titles to his name between 1975 and 1984 (only American skier Phil Mahre in 1982 and 1983 prevented him winning 10 titles in a row !?!), a feat that will surely never be equalled.

2013-14 Men's Giant Slalom Title

American skier Ted Ligety and Austrian racer Marcel Hirscher both finished the World Cup Giant Slalom season on 560 points, but rather than share the Giant Slalom award, Ligety was awarded the title having won five races compared to Hirscher's two.

2012-13 Men's Giant Slalom Title

Ted Ligety's incredible season continued as he finished the Giant Slalom season off in style with another victory at Lenzerheide. It meant that the American had won an incredible six of the eight races during the season and come third in the other two, an amazing feat.
