Ski Racing Awards
Skiing doesn't have the same number of awards as some other sports, such as football for example which seems to have a new one created every season, but there are a few annual gongs that are handed out, the most prestigious of which is the Skieur d'Or Award, which is named each Autumn on the eve of the new ski racing season.

Longines Rising Ski Star Award
The Longines Rising Ski Star award was created by the luxury Swiss watch company to encourage the discovery of young ski-racing talent.
Matteo Baumgarten Award
The International Matteo Baumgarten Award is given each year by the Baumgarten family to a young Alpine skier in honour of their son, Matteo, who was tragically killed in a car crash in 1996.
