Slopespotting Winter 2016-17

Peter Mills looked on in abject horror as he overheard Robbie Fowler ask the hotel receptionist in Kühtai "where's the nearest Gregg's ?"

Mary Foster stood behind Madonna as she "coughed really loudly" in a gondola at Verbier over Christmas. Good work Mary.

Neil Barker was over in Aspen and saw Elton John and David Furnish staring at what looked like a simple pigeon behind the Mezzaluna Restaurant. "Surely they've seen a pigeon before" said Neil. To be fair, they've maybe not seen an American one Neil.

Sandra Davis was snowboarding in Courchevel and saw one of Vladimir Putin's bodyguards skiing after a squirrel. "I've no idea what it had done" she said. We've got a pretty good idea Sandra, but we're keeping it schtum.

Back in Kühtai, and Terry Berry spotted ex-England rugger star Jason Robinson drinking a bottle of Calpol outside the entrance to the Hotel Alpenrose. "They know how to party on The Jump" emailed Terry. And he's not wrong.

Peter Derbyshire, from Derbyshire, spotted a rather jolly-looking Graham Bell in the French resort of Meribel. That's what we like to call an odd coincidence Peter.

Brian Billinge saw Joan Collins sipping a Lambrini on the terrace of the Gstaad Palace Hotel in the plush Swiss resort. Top spotting Brian.

And finally, Gary Thompson, was over in Kitzbühel for the Hahnenkamm races and stood near to Arnold "Just call me Arnie" Schwarzenegger as he smoked a Cigarillo - "the wind took the smoke into my face for almost two minutes" claimed Gary.
