When it comes to apre-ski, Ischgl is not only the party capital of Europe, but the entire skiing world.
It start early, and finishes late.
Early afternoon haunts include the Kuhstall smack in the centre of the resort, the Trofana Alm and the Ice Bar. Plenty of trashy sing-a-long
europop and oompah-band music being belted out to get you in the mood for early evening, when it seems the entire holidaying population is
staggering the streets and hitting the bars.
The Kuhstall remains popular in the centre around this time, along with the nearby Fire and Ice bar, the Hollboden (famous for it's live music)
and the Kitzloch. All these bars stay open late and their are also a wealth of dancing clubs, the resort has its own Pacha at the Madlein Hotel
whilst the Arena nightclub at the Trofana Royal is one of the most popular places in town. There are also a number of lap-dancing clubs to keep
lap-dancing fans happy !
The whole thing may sound like mayhem but it's all done with a decent, unthreatening-vibe, you don't get the feeling that you've wandered into
some sort of Bendidorm in the mountains.

St. Anton is probably the only resort in the world that can get close to challenging Ischgl for the title of apres-ski party capital.
The apres-ski scene starts as early at lunchtime for many places and many skiers. The Krazy Kanguruh Bar is one of teh Alps most famous
and ensures a seemingly endless party atmosphere up on the slopes. Down in town there are plenty of wine bars, nightclubs and cheesey
euro-pop bars.
