As you'd probably expect from a country with such a reputation for being so technologically advanced and forward-thinking, Japan's ski-clothing brands come highly recommended for their quality and high levels of performance in the mountains. In their early years, the likes of Descente and Goldwin were mainly worn on the slopes in homeland Japan, but having forged decent relationships in the world of top-level ski-racing, they soon established themselves in the coveted European and North American markets.
